Cebra specializes in the application of virtual multi-user 3D worlds over broadband Internet. Especially for this purpose we developed the VirtuoCity platform, with the key feature that it imposes relatively few demands on the system of the user. Initially, the technology was used as an interactive means of communication for urban renovation projects. Today many project are carried out for cities and other organizations. Moreover we realized that virtual worlds based om VirtuoCity are very suitable in the design phase, to investigate the effect of various interventions in the built environment on the wellbeing of the visitors.
Cebra innovation is highly valued, and was rewarded in the nomination for various (European) innovation awards.
